Conveyor Belt
The conveyor belt (also known as the Rotatolator) is a functional element and another type of teleporter. It lays over rows and columns of hexes with arrows pointing in the conveying direction. The conveyor belt in Match 4 Crush shifts game pieces one (1) or more hexagons every move, often moving game pieces a distance of five (5) hexagons. In most match 3 games the conveyor belt only shifts the game pieces one (1) square per move.
The Rotatolator can transport candies, desserts and almost every type of game piece, including blockers. Many spewers and chocolate fountains wreak havoc all around the board thanks to the rotatolator. The rotatolator does not pass through fences. Spirals and Order Borders are not affected by rotatolators.
The two (2) types of conveyor belt are the teleport and the circuit. The circuit rotatolator creates a single closed circuit, similar to a circle. The teleport rotatolator has a portal at each end, when a game piece enters the portal at one end, it comes out of the portal at the other end, in other words, it is teleported from one end of the conveyor belt to the other. Often multiple teleport rotatolators are linked so the game piece entering the portal of one rotatolator teleports to the portal of another rotatolator to form a rotatolator system.
The rotatolator is not a blocker, it does not hinder the players progress, in fact it actually helps by often triggering a second wave of cascading during the same move, which can create more desserts!
Hint Arrows
The hint arrows appears each move when ‘hints’ are set to ‘on’ in the ‘Settings’ menu. By switching the two (2) pointed items a match is made. When no hint can be found, it means there are no possible matches on the board and all the candies are reshuffled, but it is somewhat rare.
Dispensers
Dispensers release elements on to the board from above. The dispensers are capable of releasing every mobile element in the game, including garlic, all candies, all desserts (both elective and booster), and all moveable blockers (cookies, coats, licorice nets, truffles). Most dispensers do not release desserts in a controlled manner. Most often the player must make special matches, or trade Gold Bars to create desserts in the game, thus giving more control to the player.
